Darkcast arose out of a brief Question and Answer session at Gencon 2009. The Eclipse Phase developers were asked if they had a wiki set up for the setting yet, and if not if they would like to have one so the fan efforts could be collected all in one place.

As it turns out - the question also fell on my ears. And setting up webpages is sort of what I do.

And so the idea of Darkcast came to be.

We're here as a supplement to the main forums over at Eclipse Phase, providing an additional place for the community to grow into, and a set of wiki pages to build upon.

How do I contact someone in charge around here?!
Well, if you have an account then the first thing you could do is send the sysop a message through the PM system here on the site. The next would be to post in our forums. If none of those work, then admin@firewall-darkcast.com should also reach us.

What's with this wiki?
Our wiki is meant to support and enhance your game play. In it you ought to find the following:

1) System Reference pages - a great way to look up something about the system when you're stuck away from your books.

2) Fan Creations - ideas, NPCs, locations, gear and the like to spring on your players or use with your next PCs. We hope to even have some downloadable adventures included as well, for those nights when you need to run a game but don't have anything prepared.
