Is there a forum friendly Character sheet? or perhaps somewhere online that has a sheet we can use and save then link to?
Character Sheets
A character sheet that works well when posted or messaged ont he forms here..
Oh! hm... I know drupal can do a file upload that should let you attach a PDF of a sheet, but from the sounds of it you're looking for a way to display directly in a post Copy and Paste style... trickier. Hm. I'll ask around and see if we can locate something that would work right.

Alas it appears only to pertain to PDF versions of character sheets. Still might be a starting point.
I will put on my techwriter hat and look over the character sheet and see what comes out.
yeah the thought here is something that is saveable/uploadable in a format everyone can see and share on the forums. Word forms, a text format, maybe something more complex..
I am so NOT into tech and programing but if anyone wants an easy-to-fill charsheet u can use the attached one. No calculations in this one so far, just a template. I will be working on some calculations in it in the next few weeks...

| EP Char Sheet RK v0 97-2003.xls | 123 KB |
Been working with RadoMorph's Excel Sheet and automatting it some
as well as cleaning up calculations.
There is a 3 page for costs and character creation guide.
the rest is similiar to the default character sheet.
for skills the first number will be your combined stat bonus.
(limits taken into account) and the second will be your skill.
Hope this helps some.
PS: If you see an error or miscalculation or something I missed
tell me I can work on it more. Excel is my thing (I professionally support it amongst other applications) I'm not perfect..

Once you get this to a good point where you'd feel comfortable letting it loose upon the world, mind if I slip a link to it into the wiki here as a good sheet to start with?
Well So long as everyone's name that worked on it gets put on it..
No issue there.. Honestly I just need people to look at it at this point
and check it for errors. Second set of eyes and all that.
The skill costs for Knowledges follow the over 60 it costs 2 cp's per point raised?
Well made the assumption that the above is true.
Don't have my book right in front of me but here is the new sheet
skill totals at the bottom should calculate properly now.

Bastlynn, if you´d like to link this sheet to the Wiki go ahead, I just think it´s best to use it without this "calculation" page because I did a really crap job with it (there is no structure to it and its just confusing) Thanks to Auly for helping with the calculations, this is great help.
@Auly: Let me rework this crap third sheet of mine a bit; I will take your latest updated version as my starting point and not change your calculations. Agreed? Will drop you a peivate message when ready.
@Radomorph: Well I liked the idea of the 3rd page stepping you through each step in character creation. It made a good cheat sheet.
You did use a lot of merged cells which make the calculations harder but I can fix them
If you want to chat with me in IRC or IM about it just message me for my handle.
As promised I have restructured the sheet for better readability and practicability. Once you work through the rules and the sheet the handling should become obvious.
@ Auly: Thanks to Auly for your comments and your calculation work, I kept the idea of the 3rd page guiding through the Char Creation. I still need your help though (I´m not an Excel geek...)
Sheet "Calculations" cell BC67: I don´t get it why there is this #VALUE error, can you help out with that? Sth to do with the CP cost and the according formula I guess... couldn´t fix this. Same thing AD86
Same Sheet AK194: solution needed for this cell, this should contain the chosen Morph Type to calculate Speed Stat accordingly (Sheet CHARSHEET p1 cell BI26) I bet you got a neat idea for this.
@ All: please test this, improve it, make suggestions, whatever!

#Value means there is text when excel is looking for a number or visa versa.
As far as lists of Morphs and their abilities and such plus the various modifications or custom Morphs I think it's prolly better to have someone
fill that information out. Going to have to change some of the sheet to accomidate for this.
Hm, I don´t get it, BC67 should refer to 'EP CHARSHEET p1'!AT62:AU62 and there is a number... have a look, maybe you can fix it.
As for lists of Morphs, Gear, whatever: actually I´m going on a 3 week vacation next week (yeaaaah) so I´ll have plenty of time to do sth like that if you provide me with a template
It's because your feeding it a range rather then a single value.
The question I have is do we want to have things like morph stats and such come up? it's possible to make a list and fill things in based on that list. But it's alot of work creating the list I think for now we can just have people fill in the values.

You´re right.
@ Bastlynn you can link this Char Sheet to the Wiki now.
Well I think we need someone to check it for issues (IE: use it) then it should be good for posting.. BTW I'm in the chat channel all day and got a system at home keeping a log of that channel so you can leave me messages there.. It's not 100% but it's should be close.
Calculation corrections and a bit more automation with skills.

Someone please try this and give feed back so we can get it polished to be published on the wiki.
It rocks socks that people are doing this; now that people are getting used to Character Builder (etc) for 4e a math tool is the bomb.
I'll play around and come back, the first page already has typos ( the word Character and can has one 'n').
I use Numbers (Excel for Mac) though so anything I upload will probably be mauled. Got warnings on data valuation, popup menus and password protection (not that I think you should drop any of that, but any edits I make wouldn't really be helpful).
yeah protection was turned on with no password just to save the formulas and such. Working on the spelling but that's far from my strong point.
Putting a little more polish on it and checking spelling...
Also getting Max attribute to work again.
despite the nice forms that were released I like these since they can be saved by to the file and they automatically do a lot of the calculation for character creation for you.
Updated formulas and checked spelling (again)...

I think we may need to cross post this a few other threads on the EP forums - I think the guys over there may have missed the post you did. Have you emailed it in? charactersheets@posthumanstudios.com
I haven't yet but still think it needs some polish.
Okies
I'm gonna take a look at it when I get in from work and see if I can help any
This is really great; understand about the password protection (i've already accidentally nuked a few cells since it's disabled...)
Some thoughts
*********
On v025
V75 should =SUM(AK44:BE44)
--That way you can organically muck around with your stats and it ties back to your totals.
70 AA, AB,AC redundant/a bit unclear given 76:77 AV:BB
*********
Will keep looking at it; wish I could upload but Numbers isn't all that.
this version was editted using Open Office..
made a couple recommended changes..
Also some parts such as total available in the custom points area are for
if you want to make changes to the totals the characters start with or
have available.

I'm using the spreadsheet right now and it's a fairly nice one, very user friendly and looks to be doing things right.
Nicely done.
OK. Got open office... (since I guess that's OK to use...)?
I did more spelling; the "HLookup" function on pg 2 doesn't work for me on OOo or Numbers... it seems like it was being fed by an IF from cells AR:17 to BL:17.
I, uh, didn't get what was happening but since it wasn't working for me I just added a morph maximum box on sheet 2 and put in really simple arithmetic to check it vs the total attributes...
Sorry if I ruined someone's hard work, but if they were working correctly IF -should- show up on other programs, no?
----------
Would kinda prefer a morph sheet on Calculations but I figured incremental changes were better.

The if statement was a check to make sure the values didn't exceed the max for the current morph.
I've checked it for errors again and will release a final version tomorrow once i get a chance for error checking tomorrow.
did some error checking
this is most up to date version and bar major errors will be made final.

A big thank you to Tearlach who spent part of today pointing out bugs and such and looking up values for me.
Most recent version is here and I was starting to think of it as done.. looks like there is still a lot to do.

I'm aware that the latest version broke many of the formulas they will be fixed shortly.
Well after car problems and many other things I'm back working on the sheet..
Cheers Auly, after trying a couple different character sheets I must say that I like yours the most. It is pretty, the colours makes it easy to understand at a glance. It is transparant, so I know what everything does. All in all, a great job.
How far along is the sheet so far?
honestly haven't had the chance to sit down and work on it in a while really it will take a couple hours of sitting down listing the bugs and fixing formulas. As what I can tell at the moment the issue is that the formulas in it aren't adding the right cells.
Well here it is..
I think I've caught all the errors. please check it.

Well unless people can find an error on this current version we can likely kick it up to version 1.0 and post it on the wiki.
testing has found some calculation bugs within the file working on fixing them. It's mostly reference issues with some of the formulas.

Forum friendly character sheet? Im not sure what you mean?
