I'd originally intended this as an index page for specific fan-created habitats (which would each have their own entry). But if it makes more sense to use this as a habitat information page, I say let's do it that way. Perhaps we can/should include a outline of published habitats and a link to the index of the fan creations at the bottom?
i dont think we have to differentate the differnt habitat designs by offical and unoffical because many(if not all ) the designs were derived from other sources and its just gerneal information anyway
I find it handy to differentiate so I know which rules and type of habitat I need to explain to new readers and which ones I can rest assured were covered in the book.
I'm the hardest science fiction reader in my gaming group - so I *know* if it's not in the book, there's no way the rest of my crew would know automatically what something was. So keeping the lists separated gives me a good cue to explain it.
It also will come in handy for any work I do in the future for module writing - I'll know what to expound upon vs. what was covered in the core book. I know many of the other wiki's for settings out there have over time evolved into something of a writer's bible.
And lastly, just for clarity of presentation and accuracy as a reference material - I say we need to have some way of citing origin of material. At the moment, canon vs. non-canon seems the most sensible way to me.

Is thsi section for writing about specific habitats(ie cole buble station with normal atmosphere, micro gravity, run by autonomist, with such and such social mores) or more general like habitat designs, detailed info on general types of habitats. just curious, maybe we should split this section
