The Rabbit Hole

Located on ID-10-Terror, the Rabbit Hole is a small hotel, really the only hotel, on the tiny habitat. Most of it's clientele are passing through, crews from ships who want a chance to get out and socialize, or visitors from any of the various outposts I.T. serves as a way station for.

The hotel is really just a series of excavated alcoves from mining tunnels, which have been shaped to more pleasing slightly rounded boxes with doors built into the stone walls, and beds installed. The rooms are minimally decorated and wired into the habitat systems.Map of the Rabbit Hole

Some of the rooms further into the back of the hotel are wireless deadspots due to lingering ferrous material in the stone left over as part of the mining process. The hotel warns guests staying in those rooms of the deadspots, while some guest prefer the additional privacy others dislike the feeling of disconnect.

There is a more decorated and much more comfortable lobby area at the front of the Hole - adjacent to a fairly decent bar done up in fake wood and carved stone. This is where the wireless connections for the hotel are strongest and the fake coffee is free. The alcohol is not, but the bartender is a cute and bubbly blond - so it balances out. The bar boasts a holo-projector fireplace, comfortable chairs and a small stage for performances. In addition to the usual selection of alcohols, the owner of the Hole keeps a small stock of moonshine, an old family recipe, tucked under the counter for those who know to ask for it.
